What a blessing to be up and running again on the blog! My Uncle and Aunt blessed me with a tremendous blessing and bought me a computer, so I can continue to minister through my devotions and life experiences! I have much to share but have to share something God has been encouraging me with, and it comes from something my little girl asked me all weekend! Leah and I have had the project of building a playground/swing set in our backyard and she has been so excited. However, what I gleaned from our time together is something that I ask my heavenly Father continually. She would bring me a bolt or a wrench and simply say ,"Fix it Daddy!" Her simple faith in me that I could fix what she sees as undone spoke volumes to my heart. I saw many pieces laying on the ground, hard work and seemingly impossibilities, she saw my ability to complete what was needed. Many of us have been torn down by the world, our faith has become diminished because of circumstances in our lives. However, God desires for us to look at Him and say, " Fix it Daddy!" To simply believe again, the impossible, the supernatural, the mountain moving power of God to do more in our lives than we have allowed them to become.
Here is something my Sunday School teacher shared with us yesterday... Luke 1:37- For with God nothing shall be impossible!
May your heart be encouraged today, remember that God does things in spite of what we see, He can do all things and do them well. Let your heart receive resurrection for that dream you thought was dead, let your faith be resuscitated to trust and believe that God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think! Your third day of God doing what has been promised to you could be today, live in hope that He can change you, live in expectation that He can move on peoples hearts to bless you with that promotion, financial provision, or miracle that it will take to have your dream come to pass. Lift your hands today and cry out to God and say," Fix it Daddy!"

The part that really convicted me this morning is the sentence: "To simply believe again, the impossible, the supernatural, the mountain moving power of God to do more in our lives THAN WE HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO BECOME".
I do indeed believe in the impossible, the supernatural, the mountain moving power of God, but in spite of that how many times has my flesh stood in the way of His perfect Will for my life!!! Through letting my natural thoughts control my mind, words coming out of my mouth unedited by the Holy Spirit, followed by actions which were no better!
I know better, I know first hand how satan operates but yet at times I LET him control and the more he controls the more I feel distance between my awesome Father andHIS perfect Will in my life! Your blog this morning has been the confirmation of what the Holy Spirit has been dealing with in me lately. I thank you for your discipline this morning and for the precious time it takes to minister to the rest of us. Love you and your family and pray His blessings and protection over you. m.j.
