Its been way to long since Ive shared with you and I want to encourage your hearts this morning! Have you ever gone through a time when you felt beat up and discouraged? Let down about where you career is going, life, spiritual walk, duty as a Father, Husband, etc? If this is you, then I have a place for you to go visit! It is in the realm of your spirit, and is as close as your time alone with the Lord. It doesn't cost money and it is the most refreshing vacation you will ever have..... Here it is...... The Garden!!!!
Many of you know that I have an actual physical garden, right now its planted with corn, pumpkins, broccoli and cauliflower. I love to spend time there because of the growth that it shows and the crop it yields! However, Im not talking about my garden, so I don't want a 100 cars showing up at my house :) But I am talking about your garden of Eden. The place where God supplies all of your needs and where you are satisfied by just being with Him!
Genesis 1:31- And God saw everything He had made and it was good!
That is my longing today, for my relationship and my heart to be in good standing with the Lord, where He feeds me and I am ok with it being whatever it is He provides. Where He clothes me and I am ok if its not top of the line clothing. Where He gives me a job and I am ok if its simply to be a salesmen for a company. Where He communes with me and I am ok if its to be known of Him and not for the world to know me.
The garden, the place where He provides it all and I am ok, just being in that place. My self worth dependent on who He says I am and not what a job or society says. Oh what blessing He has given us! Return to the Garden and soak in the blessings He has bestowed upon you. It will refocus your efforts as you walk with Him!
