Whom Do You Follow

I'm coaching a 4-5 year old soccer team right now and have to come to the conclusion that following directions are a hard task for this age group, they want to do what they think is fun and entertaining instead of what the coach is trying to develop in them.
But before I blame there age to much I have to ask the question," Do I follow simple directions on a daily basis with my walk with Christ?"
We have many voices we can listen to in this life, here are a few I deal with daily:

• My flesh
• Society
• Status Quo
• Comfort
• Emotions
• Fears

the list could go on and on! However may we take a lesson from the Wise Men!

Matthew 2:7,12

⁷ Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. ⁸ He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

. ¹² And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

The world will often tell us to do something that sounds good and seems like its right, however, do we know the voice of God enough to do what is exactly right?
 He will lead us with the right directions, to develop us, to deliver us and to do a work in our lives!

So who or what do we follow?
