Do we notice?

My little girl taught me a valuable lesson this past weekend in the area of restoration. It came to my heart this morning as I read a devotional from Genesis 3:21 which reads- Unto Adam and to his wife did the Lord make coats of skin, and clothed them! You know that it is easy to see someone lost and discover the fallen but do we neglect to cover the fallen? In my ministry I see a lot of saints that simply fall at times and it would be easy to write them off or to say, " I would never let that happen to me." Leah showed me the need for restoring health and strength into her body this past weekend as she was sick and battled a fever and cold. Sue and I tried everything in our own power to help her and it came to us as we rocked that little girl at 2 a.m. that we have neglected the most powerful balm of all and that is the prayer of faith! We prayed earnestly for our little girl as we touched and agreed and when she woke up the next morning her fever was gone and it did not come back! That deserves an amen!!!! Restoration of someone that has fallen into sin or disobedience holds the same formula, James 5 says to confess your faults one to another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The HOly Spirit didn't put that there as words but actual action to receive an action from the one that heals spiritually and physically. Never underestimate the power of your prayers and a heart to see restoration. Purposely notice today someone that may be fallen or that person that God has been placing on your heart to call, one call, one prayer, one word could begin restoration!
