What a great thing it is to have a revelation from the Lord when spending time with the Lord. Yesterday was a crazy day because I overslept and I started work about two hours later than usual. You know what that means?? I would finish two hours later than usual:(
I was overwhelmed with the duties of the day and because I did not spend my usual time with the Lord, everything seemed bigger than it actually was. When I spend time with the Lord, everything in that day comes under submission to His Lordship and problems, duties, cares, and concerns seem a lot smaller in comparison to a BIG GOD! My sweet bride did something that turned the whole day around for me! I always have my mp3 player and I listen to praise and worship or the bible as I go about my day and it helps me stay focused on His presence. However, I left everything in the rushing out that I had to do that morning because I was late. Sue brought me my mp3 player along with a great lunch and her act of love and sacrifice turned it all around for me. She is an amazing woman!! Sue have me a lesson from the Lord and the Holy Spirit showed me this verse this morning. Ephesians 4:32-And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
I guess the first words if this verse say it all, BE YE KIND! It doesn't take much to be kind, a simple gesture, a word, a reaction that is different from the world are all ways to show that Christ is living in you! Did you know that kindness is a fruit of the Spirit and that kindness is fruit of love?? My bride helped me to see that kindness is something that you look to do not that you hope to do! Be kind today, look for ways to show someone that their life is of worth to Jesus! It may even change yours!
