The Wiles of the devil

I wanted to share a couple of things that the Lord has placed on my heart today as I meditated on some passages. I have seen the word of God do amazing things in my life and the Lord has been opening my eyes in the area of spiritual warfare. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). If you do a word study on these words they are a direct reference to satan and his demonic influences. I saw something that I never saw before and it came to me like a ton of bricks, Matthew 13:19 and the parable of the sower talks about the word of God in our lives but verse 19 opened my eyes when it says, When someone hears the word of God and does not understand it( which translates to put to practice) then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

I want to pray that you get this tonight, the reason that many do not see growth in their life is because the word of God they hear, they do not apply. This is where we give satan the keys to our situation instead of applying the word and producing the fruit of the word. THere is a situation that is going on right now in a close friend of mines life that is in need of a touch from heaven, the word of God is just a word but faith with works with a word moves mountains!!!! When you wake up or when you get into Gods word remember that application brings manifestation of Gods fruit in your life. Be blessed my friends and fight the good fight of faith! Satan doesn't care if you hear the word of God, he is defeated when you apply the word of God. If I have a paint brush and a gallon of paint that is great to have, however, only when I apply the paint to the canvas is the picture manifested! Start painting my friends, the word of God has creative power, fruit producing ability and life altering capability!!!
