My Expectation

Here is a powerful truth that will turn a normal day into an new move of God in your life! Psalm 62:5-9
My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved.
7 In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God.
8 Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.

Here is the question that I was faced with this morning when I woke up. What is on your expectation meter for today? You see many times we wake up ad expect a long day full of duties, maybe a day full of hard tasks and even harder people to deal with :) However, this is the key to living a life day to day that saturates with joy and hope: MY EXPECTATION IS FROM THE LORD! What is God going to do today, what is He going to show me today, how is He going to move today? I am going to expect Him to move mountains, move hearts, change my life, answer my prayers and manifest Himself in ways that I have never seen before. The Psalmist got it, he said my expectation is from Him.
People will let us down, circumstance are fleeting but the word of the Lord endures forever, let our expectation be from Him. What He can do! I think about so many saints in the word of God that prayed, sought and drew close to the Lord and their day of what they expected came to pass. Arise today my friends and say what the Psalmist proclaimed, " MY EXPECTATION IS FROM THE LORD!" What a great way and a day to have hope abound in your life! He lists names of all the things that the Lord has provided in his life. It may not be a bad idea to proclaim what you expect from the Lord and then write down what He has already manifested. WOW what a great truth! Be blessed my friends, I expect the power of God to move today!!!!
