Last night was the last night of the Bible study class at church and I have to tell you it was to me the best! Those of you that were at last nights Bible study heard a word from on High from Minister Marvin Babb. He spoke on the Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. I meditated on many things that he said and it gave me this thought concerning Gods word: When God says it do we live as if we believe it?? Genesis 1:24 says this," And God SAID, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: AND IT WAS SO!
I hope that you got the truth here, when God spoke it, it was so! Another words it happened!! One of the ways that the enemy defeats Christians at times is not primarily because they don't know Gods word, satan does not care if you know it. However, what scares him to death is when a Christian practices it and lives it! Application brings Gods manifestations! Listen, what God speaks in His word is truth, and truth at times takes time to get here on time!
The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart in April 2001 Proverbs 28:13, however, what God promised me actually came to pass in an area of extreme importance to me this past week. 9 years after He promised me that word in my heart, did it mean that it was not true?? By no means, the Word of God is SO and the promises of God are YES and AMEN. For the last 9 years I did not lose faith in that word because if salvation came by believing in Gods word then every other promise must be true and come to pass. It may be hard at times to stand on Gods word because of what is going on around us, however, standing on Gods word is the only way to get what thus sayeth the Lord. Matthew 7:24- Whoever hears the sayings of mine and DOES them, this house will not fail or fall. Friend walk today as if what God says to you, about you, and concerning your situation is true. On the authority of Gods word it shall be done!
