I know that today is the day that we call earth day, however today is extra special for me because 4 years ago the Lord answered a prayer of mine. Psalm 37:4 says- Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. The desires of our hearts change as we delight or take full joy and expectation from knowing Christ alone. My whole life I thought that the desire of my heart was to be a major league baseball player. This changed as I sold out to the Lord several years ago and He gave me a new desire. A desire to be godly, walk in purity, walk in love and share with others the blessed book called Gods word. But He also gave me my hearts desire on April 22 2006 when a sweet woman of God named Sue Ellen Thomason said YES. I celebrate the fact that the Lord met every need in my life relationally from the precious Proverbs 31 woman, and I have praised the Lord since that day He gave her to me. I used to say that I didn't deserve Sue but I know now that faithfulness opens the door of Gods favor and that is exactly what Sue is in my life--- the favor of God. I encourage you today my friends to delight yourself in the Lord- take full pleasure in knowing Him first and watch the favor of God flow. My bride is my hearts desire and my prayer is that I can get closer to God so that I can be more of what she needs. Be blessed as I celebrate Sue day :)
