Oh How He Loves You and Me!
What a wonderful word the Lord has given me this morning! Nothing with theological wonder or that would confound the most fluent scholar but a reminder of what the root of Jesus reason for coming down from glory. As I read John 17 the love for His disciples drips from His lips as He prays for them. He prays for them to be protected, feel loved, be in one accord with believers, to be cleansed by the words He spoke, to have a life full of joy, and to proclaim the glorious truth of who Jesus is! John 17:21- That they all may be one, as You Father, are in me,and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may know that You have sent me!
Oh how He loves you and me, He bled and died what more could He give, Oh how He loves you, oh how He loves me, oh how He loves you and me! This is a simple reminder this weekend, as we enjoy our weekend may it be a little more precious as we think on the simple truth that Jesus has prayed for you and me, He loves you. As the old song we learned in Sunday School sings, " Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so!" Be blessed!
