Look for the Fowls

In this journey of building the spiritual house I wrote about yesterday, the Lord impressed upon my heart a passage that I wanted to share with you today!I didn't realize how much work it is to submit an area of my life as an instrument of righteousness as described in Romans 6:13. I notices several distractions that pulled me away from this task, I would get caught up in something and realize that it had been a few hours since I thought of my scripture that I had committed to applying to the area of my mind! Philippians 2:5-6 was a passage that I wanted to have my mind dwell upon and for the most part I was able to meditate and have the Lord do a work there. However, this morning I was made aware that this life of yielding to the working power of Gods transforming word would have an adversary!

Mark 4:3-4
3Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

Friends you must look for the fowls!!!! Recognize those situations, people, tasks, temptations, passions or whatever is the bird that comes and snatches the word and the work of God away in your life! Jesus said it would happen, He knew that the enemy desires nothing more than to keep you in a life of mediocrity and defeat! You see satan doesn't mind if you hear the word, or you get up daily and read Gods word, or read a blog or go to Sunday School. But the alarms of hell go off when a child of the living God applies Gods word!!! satan knows that if there is no application, there will be no manifestation! Recognize today the fowl that wants to pluck the word of God that has been sown into your heart! Be blessed!
