A Word We Dont Like

Anyone recognize this sign? Here is another question, How many of us obey this sign when we see it? Just kidding of course, but this is a sign that I at times casually heed to, sometimes don't recognize, and at times when I'm in a hurry I don't like it!

However, it is put in place for a specific reason, though in some areas it doesn't seem to make sense. Gods word this morning has spoken clearly to me and it is found in Romans 6:19-I am speaking in familiar human terms because of your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and]faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing) [which leads] to sanctification.

Yielding is something that we are called to do in our Cristian walk, why? Becoming who God would have us to be means moving when He says move and stopping when He says stop. Offering our lives for Him to control is where we find our purpose and our lives become fulfilled. I know that I can try and control my own life and it becomes cluttered and filled with chaos. This is what happens if you fail to yield at a sign, the traffic becomes chaotic. Today ask the Lord to show you areas that you need to yield to. What area has become so out of control that yielding seems offensive or even impossible? This is the area God would have us to yield! Be blessed my friends and I pray for you as you pray for me!
