Psalm 119:114

A great encouragement from the word of God this morning! The Lord lately has been leading me through Psalms 119- this is a great place to dwell if you desire God to ignite your heart for His word, it gives stimulation to your spirit and creates a hunger for His Holy Word!
We have become a biblically malnourished society that turns to the Bible as a last resort instead of the final authority, I have allowed my hope to be in many other things instead of Gods statutes and this is the biggest joy robber of them all.

Psalm 119:114- Thou are my hiding place and my shield, I HOPE IN YOUR WORD!
Where does your hope rest? Instead of placing it in the next President, promotion, prosperity, position or people, why not chose today to place it in the WORD OF GOD! The word of God is established forever, it will never fail, it will never falter! Hope -A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. What joy would it bring to our hearts if we would rest in Gods unfailing promises? What peace and power filled living we would experience!!!

Here is a story to help us with a simple trust in Gods word... Leah has figured a few things out when it comes to hope, you see if I tell her something the night before, she usually will be expecting it the next day. I told her for several days we were going to go fishing, she woke up day after day proclaiming, " We are going fishing today Daddy!" This wasn't a question but a proclamation. She simply trusted that what I told her was already done! She got so excited to go, she hoped in my word! Now people fail, promises are broken but GODS WORD NEVER FAILS! We need a generation that would get on board with God, to HOPE in His word, to trust and rest! Join me today and hope in Gods word!
