Mark 1:30-31
30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.
Here is a word this morning that I pray encourages you! Did you know that your testimony and your story is what God desires to use to impact others? If you have been touched by Jesus then you have been set free from the sickness of sin, the fever of condemnation, and the plague of death.
I love what Simon Peters Mother in Law did here, how she showed gratitude for being touched by the Saviour... What did she do? SHE SERVED!!! She served the people of God and the King of Kings, in her own gift she made an impact. You see we sometimes see our gifts as small or insignificant, however, Jesus sees them of great worth because He is the one that has implanted them inside you.
She served them, brought them food, drink, whatever else they needed because that is what a servant does. What gift has God given you? Has He touched you? How will you show it? Your gift whatever it is can and will impact the lives of others... I have sat on my gift for to long, I am ready to start serving and stop sitting!!! Will you join me?
Sure will! The Lord has bless me so much and freed me from too many sins and hopelessness for me to sit back in complacency and not encourage anyone else He sends my way!
