Proud Papa

My Quiet time partner this morning wanted me to know that he already knows how to praise the Lord! As I learn from Gods word and I am so blessed to have this little guy right next to me, it gives me a word from the Lord! 1 Peter 2:2- As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow by it!
What a word this morning as I realize my own milk deficiencies in Gods word, may my desire be as a newborn baby!!! Did you know that Gehrig NEEDS to eat every few hours so that he can be nourished? Now that is a hunger for something my friends!
 However, as Christians sometimes we will go without the milk of Gods word from Sunday to Sunday leaving us malnourished and lacking the growth that the Word of God gives… causing us to find nourishment in other areas, being fulfilled by what the world has to offer instead of the milk and the water of Gods word.
This morning let us pray that Gods word will give us more of a craving, that we need to lap it up and grow by it!
