The Cheek Life: Hold onto this!

Here is something to hold onto! There is a powerful song that I posted at the end of this devotion by Hillsong. I must have listened to this song over 20 times today because I could not shake the thought and the adoration to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from Ephesians 1:5- ^⁵For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will because it pleased Him and was His kind intent.

What powerful words to sing to our Heavenly Father! Have you ever just let this thought marinate in your mind and heart? I had this verse continually on my heart today and the more I thought about it the more emotional I got. I was in a CVS store delivering chips and literally had to go out to my truck and lift my hands in the air and weep for joy because of the thought of GOD being my Daddy. THe overwhelming reality of belonging to Jesus and that no matter what I face I do not have to face it alone! The God of all the universe is there when I am afraid, the God of eternity is there when I am overwhelmed and in need! The God of CREATION is there with me when I don't feel loved or feel like a failure. Oh Jesus burn this in our hearts! You could have chose anywhere to live in the universe yet you have chosen my heart! OH God I am overwhelmed!
