What a beautiful picture of Gods nature and character that we find in Genesis 1:1, IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth! Many of us know this verse but lets look at it closer and find application to our individual lives. Since the beginning of time God has made a way, I hope that you heard that because I'm sure there are some of those that need God to do something in your lives, situations, and families that need nothing less than an act of God. In this verse it shows that God created the heaven and the earth. Lets look at this a little deeper- He created a place where His people would dwell forever ( HEAVEN) and a place that we could live temporarily (EARTH). God made a way for me and you, He can and will create what you need! I love the fact that He created heaven first, do you know why? It shows that He wanted to live with you and me FOREVER. I hope that this brings as much encouragement to you that it does to me, His desire is to be with us, dwell with us, live in us and provide for us! Whatever it is that you are in need of today I pray that you will have a calm assurance that God will make a way! That is what He does, when there was a need for heaven and earth He made it. When we were in need of a Savior He became Him, when we were in need of His word to lead us, He wrote it!
Don Moen sings a beautiful song that says, God will make a way when there seems to be no way, HE works in ways we can not see He will make a way for me. He will be my guide hold me closely to His side. With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way, He will make a way!
Trust today my friends that He will make a way for you whatever it may be, He already sees it and is preparing it for you!

How my family is learning this.. our construction business is being forced to close after 25 years. It is a place where we thought we would never be. But God is working things out.. not necessarily the way we thought but is very busy on our behalf. I do admit I wondered where He was during this last year. But He was there all the time. Our God is a huge God and as my dad, a pastor used to say in nearly every sermon, God loves you so much, I know that He really does.
