Here is a word for you today as we meditate and ponder on the crucifixion of Jesus and what it meant and means in our lives. I attached a video at the bottom and if you can watch it PLEASE DO, it is powerful! HOwever, here is a word that I think can apply to our lives. I want to look at this day through the eyes of the disciples. Think about it, their leader, teacher, friend, and savior was being beaten, ridiculed, and killed. In the midst of our lives there comes dark times and times that we can not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Do you think that the disciples were fearful, scared, and defeated?? The Bible says that they scattered and fled. However, if you and I can get the words of this verse that I am sharing I think it will change your life and the way you look at uncertainties. Luke 24:8- And they remembered His words! THis is after the crucifixion and after Jesus resurrection, however, He said these words many days before. It is easy to forget Gods word in the midst of something that shakes your life, but remember His word. The promise of the resurrection was made in the same breath as the death that He foretold of. Remember His word whenever you go through something and I promise you that HIs word NEVER FAILS!
