Boy does vacation go by so quickly :( It seemed like yesterday that I was getting off of work on a Friday and getting packed up to head to the beach with my family. It can really be a let down when you think about going back to the grind of work and duties that are daily. However, as I was in bed last night and dreading the Monday morning rat race that I would find myself in I had a wonderful truth pop into my spirit, I continued this morning with this word and it changed the face of my day! 1 Thessalonians 5:18- IN every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you! Many times we want to know what Gods will is for our lives, well here it is friends! BE THANKFUL! So instead of dreading the workday I started to thank the Lord for giving me a job, instead of fretting over the duties of the day, I started to thank the Lord for giving me the physical ability to perform my job. When I started to do this the day turned from joyless to joyful, dreadful to delightful! In every thing give thanks, what a simple message and one that I forgot about. Isn't it like satan to get us focused on our circumstances instead of what Jesus has done and provided for us? Here is the cure for the Monday morning blues= Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the HOly one, give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ His son. Be blessed today as you give thanks!

Yep! That first Monday after vacation is always a killer. Its like waking up from a dream and refocuing on reality. Takes a little time. But what a blessing to have a job to go back to after vacation. You are right, God places us where He wants to so we can be a witness for Him.
