Matthew 6:33

What a blessing it is to have the opportunity to go on a vacation with my wonderful family! As you can see we are at the beach and have had many firsts with our little girl. Leah loves the beach and actually loves the sand and the sounds of the ocean. In my quiet time this morning, a familiar verse came to my heart as I meditated on this wonderful vacation and the ladies in my life. Matthew 6:33- Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things will be added unto you. Jesus' words ring true to me, it is easy to get caught up in the grind of every day life, work, school, ministry and day to day living. There are times when doing things Gods way is not the easy way but this verse reminds me that seeking the Kingdom of God brings Gods best to our lives. My wonderful bride Sue is a reminder that Jesus loved me enough to give the very best in a woman and a friend. My little Leah is a reminder that Gods creations are perfect and that His hand is all over my life. Today, if at all possible take a few minute and retreat in thought, of how blessed you are to have the things in your life that the Lord has given to you because you have sought first the Kingdom of God. Stay tuned in to the blog this week, there will be more to come!Be blessed!
