Break My Heart For What Breaks Yours!

Psalm 6 is a passage that is powerful if we can grasp the heart in which David wrote it! I have attached a song that is very powerful to go along with this blog, listen to the words of this anointed song!
 Grasping the fact that the King of Glory reached down to me brings great unworthiness to my heart, but great joy! I am reading a book right now that is transforming my heart through the principles in Gods word. A Man After Gods Own Heart by Jim George is a powerful read and is showing me something very transforming right now in my own life! If we are to have a heart after God and have a transforming presence we must have this truth as a daily effect on our lives: Do we see sin as God does? Now let me quickly say that I am not talking about seeing sin in someone else's life, I mean do we see the sin in our life as God does? David grasped this in Psalm 6! I know that we have been justified and forgiven but do we use this as a crutch to justify areas in our lives that are contrary to Gods heart for us? I know that I am praying fervently for my spiritual eyes to have a heart for what breaks the Lords in my own life, this is what turned David into a man after Gods heart, its what burned in Joseph when he declared," How can I do this wickedness and sin against God?"Its what led Daniel to the lions den, to see the power of God move, its what compelled Noah to build the Ark, its what brought Moses to his true destiny!! What are we waiting on, seeing sin in our individual lives first the way that the Lord sees it is the only way that our lives, families, and nation will be changed! O God open my eyes to my short falls and build within me Christlikenss!!

Psalm 6
 1 O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger,
         Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.
 2 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak;
         O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
 3 My soul also is greatly troubled;
         But You, O LORD—how long?

 4 Return, O LORD, deliver me!
         Oh, save me for Your mercies' sake!
 5 For in death there is no remembrance of You;
         In the grave who will give You thanks?

 6 I am weary with my groaning;
         All night I make my bed swim;
         I drench my couch with my tears.
 7 My eye wastes away because of grief;
         It grows old because of all my enemies.

 8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity;
         For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
 9 The LORD has heard my supplication;
         The LORD will receive my prayer.
 10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled;
         Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.
